East Timor benefits

Date: April 28, 2015

Students at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School’s Traralgon campus recently organised a series of activities to raise money for East Timor.

Year 10 student, Joshua Monaghan, shaved his head for the cause raising $500 for East Timor. Joshua is a part of the Global Communities club at the Traralgon campus and will be travelling to East Timor with Year 11 ‘Team Timor’ students from Warragul during the next school holidays.

Year 9 student Isabel Rayner-Lawton organised a group of students to conduct a ‘Boho Friday’ beauty session where they offered nail painting, hair braiding, feather extensions and henna tattoos to other students and raised $400 for the East Timor cause.

Money raised will be donated to the Friends of Ermera to help fund community and education projects in the Ermera region of East Timor.
