St Paul’s Academy of Music set to develop musical skills to another level
Date: August 20, 2019
St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School recently launched their brand new initiative, The St Paul’s Academy of Music, which is set to inspire students to take their learning and musical skills to another level.
The St Paul’s Academy of Music will be led by the school’s Artist-In-Residence and St Paul’s Alumnus, Mr Benjamin Sim, who commenced at the school earlier this year.
The Academy will provide students with a dedicated focus for the professional development of their chamber, orchestral and musical skills, which will be enhanced by regular collective, cross-level tutorials and sectional workshops.
With specialist orchestral instrumentalists and vocal tutors, an opportunity for solo and chamber performances will be available both internally and externally at a range of venues, incorporating live concert exposure and collaboration with professional performers.
The St Paul’s Academy of Music is described as a rare opportunity for regional musical students to obtain access to specialist training and performances along with musical mentoring opportunities.
Open to selected students, places are now available at the Warragul Campus and at the Traralgon Campus from 2020. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
